Each year, Zion Lutheran School and the Parent-Teacher League host a benefit auction and dinner which serves as the school’s largest fundraiser of the year. Thanks to the incredible support we received last year, we were able to remodel a room into a new music room, add lockers to the north wing of our building, and address other needs to the school program in order to maintain a quality facility and provide our students and teachers with additional resources.
On March 17, 2018, Zion Lutheran School will hold its 9th P.E.A.C.E. Auction and Dinner at the Holiday Inn Convention Center at 5:30 pm. Highlights of the evening will include a silent auction, entertainment, dinner, and alumni guest speakers: Stephanie Glanzer and Leslie (Glanzer) Suffredini. Our live auction once again will be led by Pat Slack, a broker and auctioneer with Century 21 Midlands. This will be a special evening of fellowship for people excited about Christian education!
This year’s event will raise money to update our playground and will also raise money for scholarships. Updating our playground will not only benefit our school and church children and families but also the neighborhood around Zion that often uses the playground.
We are grateful for the opportunity to provide an excellent, Christ-centered classical education to our students and request your support to help make this year’s P.E.A.C.E. Auction and Dinner a success. We are asking you to help us with this event in the following ways:
1) donate an item(s) for the live and/or silent auction
2) provide a monetary gift
3) be a P.E.A.C.E. table sponsor
4) make reservations and join us at the auction and dinner
Please make your donation/reservation by February 26th, if you are willing to support the P.E.A.C.E. Auction and Dinner. Remember that Zion Lutheran School of Kearney is a non-profit organization; therefore, your donation may be tax deductible. (Federal Tax Id: 47-0390419). To recognize your generosity, your donation will be listed in our auction program and posted on our school’s website. A receipt will be mailed to you after the auction.
